    Codurance’s customer, a global market data and insights business, provides its clients with a comprehensive platform to support optimal data-driven decision making and forecasting. With a long and successful heritage in the industry, the business was ready to accelerate the next phase of growth with new investment. This has been further enhanced by the acquisition of other businesses into the group with the aim of delivering a complete offering to a wider customer base.

    The plan included improving the platform’s quality, consolidating the various systems being used to reduce cost and ultimately increasing the company’s value to bring greater value to users. With several legacy platforms being brought into the business following successful M&A, it was clear a technology transformation was required to deliver a modern, well-architected platform that would meet the goals of the business and its customers. The business therefore turned to Codurance as a trusted technology partner to deliver these improvements within the time and budget assigned to this transformation.

    We had a very constructive and strategic relationship with Codurance based on mutual respect - they delivered our project on time and within budget.     Building a Modern Platform to Drive Revenue Growth and Customer Engagement

     

    The Codurance team kicked off the engagement by undertaking a product discovery and creating a backlog of work and product roadmap. We then created a new modern front end web application with a graphing component and integrated this with the data platform. Our team was responsible for building a premium product that would include extra features that could be upsold to clients and drive increased revenues. This premium product was designed to include additional features that could be upsold to clients, creating new revenue opportunities and enhancing customer engagement.

    Accelerating Growth with a Scalable, High-Performance Platform

     

    Within a 12 month period and within the defined budget, our team delivered an entire new platform with many innovative features, ready to be used by customers in production. The platform was built using modern agile technical practices such as DevOps and CI/CD, ensuring that changes can be deployed into production in 30 minutes - this has delivered a world-class platform that will easily handle hundreds of daily deployments if required in the future.

    Customers now have new capabilities and features that allow them to access more data and to make better decisions to support their businesses. With a new, modern technology platform in place, the business is able to accelerate its growth inline with the expectations of the board and investors.
